Border “Turgundi” – Mary – Ashgabat – Border “Ashgabat” airopot 

Day 1.

Meet the tourists at the border Guide and Driver. Custom formalities, head  to Mary totally it will take 4-5 hours driving 315 km, two third of the road is a rough track. Arrival to Mary accommodation at the Hotel. Visit the Regional Museum. If time permits city tour Russian Orthodocks Church erected in 1900. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.


Breakfast at he hotel. Drive  to East to explore Archaeological-Architectural Monuments of Ancient Merv. The fortress Kyz Kala and Yigit Kala is the first to see, than further to the East visit Ashabs mausoleums (companions of prophet Muhammad), Al-Hakim ibn Amr al-Jafari and Buraida ibn al-Huseib al-Islami. The portal-aivan built at the time of Timurlame. Further to the East passing  the bridge on al-Razik canal head to the North between two Fortresses Sultan Kala on your left and Gyaur Kala on the right drive to the North. Sultan Kala was built at the beginning of the XI-th century and Gyaur Kala at the IV-th century BCE. On the Northern side of Gyaur Kala there is an Erk Kala the oldest of Merv Fortresses built at the VI-th century BCE. Hoja Yusuf  Hamedani  Mosque is the holiest part of Merv where local pilgrims  worshipping to the Grave tomb  of Sufi dervish. The Shahriyar Ark (or Citadel of Sultan Kala) is one of the more interesting parts of Merv. Mausoleum of Sultan Sanjar is an impressive construction with magnificent turquoise-tiled outer dome, which was seen from one day caravan way according to the Middle Aga historians reports. The XII-th century Mausoleum of Muhammed ibn Zeid is an important site for Sufi pilgrims. Fromthere drive to Mary, have lunch. After lunch city tour, visit House of Artists. Transfer to airport. Arrival to Ashgabat. Accommodation at the hotel. Overnight.


Breakfast at the hotel. Full day tour in Ashgabat. In the morning visit Nisa fortress former residence of Parthian Kings III-d century BCE, with the Zoroastrian Temple, Square Hall, Big Terrace currently excavated by Turkmen-Italian Archeological team and treasury of Parthian Kings. On the way back to Ashgabat visit village Kipchak and Spiritual Mosque of Turkmenbashy. Lunch. After lunch city tour including Independence Tower 91m. height, National Museum of History, after the museum Arch of Neutrality, Russian Bazar. Dinner. After dinner short city tour to evening Ashgabat including  “Yyldyz”  Hotel and Wedding Palace (City Hall) from there you will have a fantastic panorama to the city. Overnight at the hotel.

Early morning transfer to Airport flight to Home.
